Sound Familiar?
You got a grain mill. You started milling your own flour. And then you wondered if you would ever get to make cookies again.
Because every time you tried, something went wrong.
The dough was too sticky. The cookies spread into puddles. They came out dense and heavy and nothing like the recipe said they would. And you spent enough butter and grain to feel genuinely frustrated about it.
So you went back to bread. And you told yourself cookies were just not worth the trouble with fresh milled flour.
I am here to tell you that is not a you problem. That is a recipe problem.
Fresh milled flour cookies are not harder. They just need recipes written for them. That is exactly what this book is.

The Author
Hi, I'm Shannon
I am a former bakery owner turned fresh milled flour educator and the voice behind Stewarding Faithfully, where I help women cook and bake from scratch without the overwhelm.
Fresh milled flour literally changed my life. After being gluten free for over a decade, I couldn't keep it to myself. I built a brand around it because more people than I expected wanted to know how to do the same thing.
In this cookbook, I use hard white wheat, soft white wheat, and Kamut. And I test every recipe until I would be comfortable serving it to guests without warning them it was made with fresh milled flour.
